I am too excited for words. Isn’t it great when you think of an old friend you lost contact with and somehow days later you hear from them. That’s what happened to me this morning. Three days ago my friend Ms. S popped into my head. Then this morning my business line rings and it’s her. I haven’t seen or spoken to homegirl in 10 years! We had lost touch by our freshman year of college. It happens. She found my profile on Classmates.com. About a month ago I had updated my profile and added my business logo that has my contact info on it. It was so great to hear from her. I love little suprises like this. We used to hang tight in high school, took college tours together and went out on double dates together.
She’s pretty much in the same position as me. She’s engaged and loves her line of work. She’s a social worker and is still living in New York. She couldn’t believe I am now in Cali and plans to visit me soon.
Awwwe ya’ll I can’t stop smiling, see 
I wasn’t going to go to our 10 year reunion that’s coming up in a few months but I think I will now. If I can get this excited over a reunion phone call I can imagine how off the wall I will be when I see everyone again.

Yup! I have a similar story…i’ll try and keep it short
back in high school (11 years ago!) there was a girl (Am) who I was friends with. We weren’t BFFs but we had classes together and got along well – when her family moved back to her home european country in gr.9/10 i did her hair for her. I’ve always thought that if she had remained in the country we would have become good friends. Over the years I’ve often thought of her (even googled her!) and when I meet people from her country I’ll stupidly ask them if they know her (i know i know). I even checked facebook for her and she wasn’t there.
Then…in December ‘07 I met a guy from her country and ended up talking about her – how I liked her name and how I wondered how she was. Anywho, the very next day at work I get a facebook message from Am that read “i don’t know if this is the right kay* but if it is HI!!!!” – I immediately wrote back and we spent the next several days catching up. She’s still in her european country but being the travel bug i am we’ve made plans for me to visit this summer. so excited.
