Have you ever been somewhere that just resonates with your soul? Paris does that for me. Even the thought of Paris brings a smile to my face. There is so much about that city that I love but to sum it up it just feels like home to me. I’m a die hard New Yorker for life. I LOVE my home state but Paris is magical. I felt alive, sexy, entertained and happy there. It was a month of pure bliss. Not to mention the fiance proposed at Cartier on the corner of Champs-Elysees. Then there was my birthday dinner at Buddha Bar where he convinced me that I was industrious enough to be my own boss and to let go of the job that I hated. The walks through the 8th arrondissement that inspired us to stop at every realtors office to inquire about summer rentals. The Eiffel Tower that made me feel like I was on top of the world. The little crepe stand near the tower. The joy I felt as nutella smeared all over my mouth from said crepe (the fiance has the funny pictures lol).
I’m just in a nostalgic mood tonite. Can’t seem to sleep and it’s 1am. Paris just won’t get out of my head.
Have you been to Paris? Did you love it? What other place besides where you are feels like home to you?
Till next time…

Its really weird how i got to your blog and then this post, because I’m living in paris right now! – funny coincidence.
But doesn’t the grass always seem greener on the other side? I really miss NYC thats my heartbeat, even though I was born in Jamaica.
In all truth Paris is OK to live in, all the things you find romantic now you’ll still love if you decide to live here, but then a whole new side of paris opens up when you stop being a tourist and become a local. Its most times exciting, sometimes frustrating but all in all very different from NYC ( or America in general – i’ve lived in MA. VA and TX). I really miss the “Energy” and “mentality” of NYC.
